
Chichester Harbourside House Alterations
The transformation of a house to improve its amenities and take better advantage of a fabulous harbour front position.
The house lies directly over the seawall to the harbour, and is in a conservation area. We obtained planning consents to rework that public facing elevation with a significant increase in window / glazing areas and a larger balcony. ( replacing a previous balcony which we won planning consent for in 2010 ) The opposite side of the house was also altered and extended to create a raised terrace with carport parking underneath. Internal alterations provide an additional bedroom and a utility room from the previous integrated garage, plus new outbuildings and workshop space, linked into the carport extension
Noel Wright Architects were responsible for
- Design , and obtaining planning consent
- Technical resolution including working drawings and achieving regulatory consents
- Subsequent input into the building phase
